As a nail salon we understand that all eyes will be on your hands on your wedding day. Your hands are likely to get a lot of attention between signing the marriage certificate, the precise images your photographer takes, and the demands to see your new wedding band. So, as a bride, what are your options? Of course, you must have a show-stopping manicure!
Wedding ceremonies serve a variety of functions and are frequently a memorable event in a couple's life. A wedding ceremony is frequently used as a public exhibition of the couple's marriage vows and the signing of the marital contract. The focus of most wedding ceremonies is on the couple's commitment and love for one another.
When to book your manicure?
We recommend that all brides and their wedding parties schedule their nail appointments within a week of the big day. Some brides believe they must get them done the day before, but if done correctly—and they pick for a longer-lasting gel polish—their nails will last." That means you won't have to be concerned about a chipped manicure on your wedding day.
At WOW Nails we put 100% of our focus when doing each customer's nail.
How do I keep hands looking at its best?
WOW Nails recommends using cuticle oil and hand lotion throughout the day to keep your hands looking manicured. You can also keep a few alcohol swabs on hand to clear any debris or dullness off your nails. The most crucial thing is to keep your skin hydrated! Throughout the day, you should use cuticle oil or hand cream, this will give your hand the much wanted glow.
Use the right varnish for the right occasion
Most brides love the idea of bling, lengths, and nail styles that are okay on a normal day. But for the wedding, consider the ring, dress, and theme color. Short nails with square tips or almond-shaped medium length nails are the best for a wedding. They are timeless and have a way of elongating the fingers. Keep the crystals minimal, so it doesn’t take the attention off your ring. For the feet, a nude pedicure is the best, as bold pastels grab all the attention.
Make sure it suits you
For the big day, you want your wedding manicure to be flawless. Running testing a week or two before the wedding isn't the best idea. If you're intrigued by the French manicure gel, acrylic, or shellac you see in images, give it a month to see if it's right for you.
This also applies to polishes, as you should try on a variety of colours to see which one best suits you. Familiarize yourself with them so that they feel at ease. If they aren't comfy, you still have plenty of time to find something that is.
